organisms suffer

one of the cory cats (not pictured) was being sucked through the filter. Which means he's not feeling so well.
And I burned the green out of a plant by over fertilizing it. Its leaves, which were thriving before I transplanted it, feel like rice paper.
I am draining the nutrients out of it's earth and over-watering it in the process. I am also allowing unobstructed drainage in order to minimize over-hydration.

I tried to help it and I ended up making it sick.
