A few days on October 7th, 2008 My daughter passed away due to blunt force trama. Not a great way to pass, the worst part of it is, it was from a TV falling and crushing her. My family and I have been through alot the last few days, and we have been talking about it, Us parents are always afraid of our children getting hurt, but what do we think about? We think about them getting hurt crossing roads, car accidents, getting hurt by others, kidnapping, all that stuff, who would of thought ur whole house is a danger to children. You never hear about these accidents. Well my family and I have decided to look up TV accidents today, because the day after my daughter passed, a little boy in Nevada was also killed by a TV fall on him with head trama, and the more we search the more we find, yesterday there was another little girl, today there were 2 more, one in Texas, and one in Washington. More and more kids are getting hurt by them everyday, No one knows about these dangers. Ive looked it up, in 2005, 2600 kids were injured/killed, all with the same problem, Head trama! and yet no one has done anything about this, I want this to get, I want every parent out there who care for thier kids to please check ur house now before it's too late, Child proof more than ever. If ur TV is on a stand make sure it isnt wobbly at all, and mount it so nothing does happen, Keep toys and things off the top of your TV its only gonna make them want to climb up it, My daughter was only turning up the volume when it happened and our TV has been on the stand for 7 years, but accidents happen, so Please help me get this out, I dont wanna read about innocent child dieing from TV's anymore, its so heartbreaking. I wanna save parents from the heartbreak that I have been through. No parent is ever gonna wanna feel the pain I feel, If only someone told me about this sooner, my little angel would be here right now in my arms, watching her smile, hearing her laugh . please help
