Garfield caught me petting the black and white cat -far more charming of the two- and came dashing into the kitchen, livid with rage.

minutes later Garfield came to vent his displeasure with one short meow with an rrr to it, and a quick but pressured stroll around my leg.

I will not have any of these cat quirks while I myself am suffering far more substantial horror !!!

But...

YOU ARE NOT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

in and of themselves.
