Thanksgiving Sunday 2008

I've put all my things in a few boxes. Some boxes will be thrown out. The rest will be placed at the far end of the basement where you have to bend over to walk around. There's a light there and heating so the humidity will be kept low even during the deep of winter. I've left the DVDs on the shelf in the boudoir with the rest of them, for others to enjoy. Pictures and letters are in large plastic boxes for extra protection. I will try to get Marc to keep the Hi-Fi system in one of the guest rooms upstairs. Most of the my clothes, I am giving away. I'm keeping just what I need to get me through the next couple of weeks.

The turkey is almost ready to be stuffed and put in the oven for the next several hours. I improvised the stuffing (not sure why Marc bought oysters, though). All that is left to do is cook the turkey, make the sauce, cook and mash the potatoes, seize the greens, and heat the meat pie. The chocolate cake is bought and should be taken out of the fridge about one hour before serving.

When I'm not crying, I'm walking around, eyes glued to the ground, dead inside.
